New Head for US Global AIDS

Mark Dybul has left his position as the US Global AIDS Coordinator. Dybul oversaw the last several years of abstinence-only programs funded by PEPFAR, which caused quite a controversy in the reproductive health field. Read some thoughts here and here. And then, tell us what you think.

Obama Lifts the Ban

Today, President Obama officially lifted the Global Gag Rule. He signed an executive order ending the ban on federal funds for international groups that perform abortions or provide information on the option.
